La Burning Night 2016, sous le signe de TETRAKTYS
Pour fêter 10 ans d’une créativité engagée, humaine et responsable, la Burning Nigh transportera notre inconscient collectif au coeur d’un voyage extraordinaire entre L’Univers et L’Invisible. L’exploration commence à la Machine du Moulin Rouge : les portes de L’Univers des Possibles s’ouvriront sur la créativité de chacun de VOUS.
TETRAKTYS sera le thème du 10e anniversaire de la Decompression parisienne. Tétraktys (τετρακτύς) est une figure triangulaire composé de dix points disposés en quatre rangées. Son symbole: un triangle irradiant. Tétraktys est associé aux mouvements planétaires et à la musique pythagoricienne. Le plus parfait des nombres comprend dans sa forme le créé et l’incréé, le commencement et la fin, la puissance et la force, la vie et le néant. Il est à la fois une idée mathématique et un symbole métaphysique qui embrasse en lui-même les principes du monde naturel, l’harmonie du cosmos, l’ascension vers le divin, et les mystères du royaume divin.
La décade est aussi le nombre de principes de Burning Man qui nous inspirent : Radical Inclusion * Gifting * Decommodification * Radical Self-Reliance * Radical self-expression * Communal Effort * Civic Responsibility * Leaving No Trace * Participation * Immediacy.
La Burning Night sera aussi placée sous le signe du VIOLET, couleur des particules cosmiques qui flottent dans la matière noire au parfum iridescent. Le violet est l’alliance entre l’action et la contemplation, le yin et le yang. C’est une couleur de sagesse, qui unit les contraintes et indique la route du juste milieu. Équilibrée et raisonnable, la couleur violette instruit la compréhension et la tempérance.

Celebrating TEN years of artistic expression, human involvement, and responsible creativity, the 2016 Burning Night will take our unconscious collective for an extraordinary journey between the Universe and the Invisible. The exploration begins at Machine du Moulin Rouge: the doors of the Universe of Possibilities will open on the creativity of each of YOU.
TETRAKTYS will be the theme of Paris Decompression 10th anniversary. The tetractys (τετρακτύς) is a triangular figure consisting of TEN points arranged in four rows. It’s symbol : a radiant triangle. Tetractys is a mystical symbol, associated with planetary motions and the Pythagorean musical system.The most perfect of numbers includes in its form the created and the uncreated, the beginning and the end, the power and strength, life and nothingness. It is both a mathematical idea and a metaphysical symbol that embraces within itself the principles of the natural world, the harmony of the cosmos, the ascent to the divine, and the mysteries of the divine realm.

The Burning Night will also be placed under the sign of Purple (or Violet), the color of cosmic particles floating in dark matter in iridescent fragrance. Purple is the alliance between action and contemplation, Yin and Yang. It is a color of wisdom, which unites the constraints and inspires us to take the middle road. Balanced and reasonable, the color purple carries understanding and temperance.
